OBJECTIVE: A critical analysis of the factors that led to the rise of Hindutva in India

CONTENTS:
CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION
· Introduction ( What is Hindutva? )
· Hinduism and Hindutva (What is Hinduism and How is it different from Hindutva)

In this section, I will explain about What is Hindutva and Hinduism and how they are different.

CHAPTER-2 : HISTORY
· History of Hindutva divided into two parts:
· Pre independence era (VD Savarkar works, Swami Vivekananda and divisions created
during British rule)
· Post independence era (role of organisations such as RSS, major events like Babri
Masjid, 2002 Gujarat riots etc)

In this section, I will explain the history of Hindutva and how it has developed from pre
independence era to post independence era.
CHAPTER-3: IMPACT AND CONCLUSION
· Instances of Hindu nationalism in the present times (discussing about insecurity in
minorities from the imposition of Hindu rashtra)
· Conclusion
In this section, I will explain the instances of Hindu nationalism seen and observed in present
times and conclude about the progress Hindutva has made till now and what is the way forward.
