1. Why do we need to check our BMI regularly? checking your BMI does benefit you?

Answer: Checking your body mass index is a MUST. A body mass index in the low range
signals that you could be malnourished or obese. Maybe your body isn’t properly
absorbing nutrients or maybe you’re just not getting enough calories to support your
activity level. Conversely, having a BMI on the higher end alerts your physician that your
risks of heart disease, diabetes and certain cancers are higher than someone with a
normal BMI. Your doctor might set you up with a registered dietitian, who can help you
get your weight back on track and reduce your risk of developing health problems.

2. On the classification of health related fitness exercises, what is the most effective and
efficient exercise for you? Why?

Answer: On the classification of health related fitness exercises I chose Aerobic exercise.
the most effective and efficient exercise for me is Running or jogging because Jogging
promotes not just physical but also mental well-being. Jogging makes you stronger and
fights depression and stress. It removes fatigue, boosts the production of white blood
cells in the body and builds up immunity. As you can see, the uses of jogging are many.
It is also known to increase one’s life span. For me jogging plays a major role in
improving the mental health of the person. Because when you jog, your body releases
hormones called endorphins that help lift your spirit and make you feel positive about
yourself. And that is why you feel calm and rejuvenated after jogging.
