1. Table 1 provides information on the age and sex composition for the parishes of
St. Andrew and Westmoreland in Jamaica, 1991. Given the data in Table 1,
calculate the following for each parish:
(i) child dependency ratio
(ii) elderly dependency ratio for each parish
(iii) total dependency ratio
(iv) total support ratio for each parish
(v) total adjusted dependency ratio
(vi) Comment on your results
