Rick Priestley is the principal writer and designer of the original edition of Warhammer 40,000 (Rogue
Trader) and worked extensively on various Warhammer 40,000 rulebooks and sourcebooks since,
including the fourth edition of Warhammer 40,000. In the words of Andy Chambers, he is "The original
Emperor of the Warhammer 40,000 universe".
