1 NORMAL DISTRIBUTION

Task: For 2022 Summer Sports League in your barangay, as SK chairman, you organize a
program for the youth ages 15-30. This program must consists of 40 members. You created a
team that is willing to join and collect information about their height because you will buy a
printed t-shirt. Create a table for respondents’ names and their height and answer the following
questions below:

Questions:

1. What is the mean? Standard deviation?

2. Suppose that the data you gathered is normally distributed, what is the probability that
the height of the member of the team your classmates picked randomly is
a. Less than 155 cm.
b. More than 143 cm.
c. Between 140 cm and 160 cm.

What to use: MS Word/Google sheet or Long Bondpaper. Can be typewritten or handwritten.
