Subject: Blocking of Joint (either or survivor) Bank Account with wife

Reference subject citied above.

Please refer to my letters and emails as well, sent to your contact

centre Head Office Karachi and a hard copy, thereof, dated Sep 15, 2021, followed
by various reminders, was also delivered to you by hand personally. A legal notice
by my lawyer was also sent to you.

No reply stating any cogent reason to block above joint account has so
far been received. On vigorous pursuance, a lady officer of your branch told
verbally that the matter is being dealt with Head Office and handed over a copy of
their internal email, instead. Moreover, no covering letter is attached and
provided to me which is really against formal official procedure and practice. The
perusal of this email it is observed that there is no proof of my association with
the person in question.

It is reiterated that I am a 70-year-old pensioner suffering from heart

diseases following open heart surgery including diabetes and hypertension.

I have rented out a portion of my house to Ms. Saadia Noreen w/o Mr.
Usman Haider for Rs. 25000 against a rent agreement duly verified by the
concerned police station and thereafter got registered with Bahria Town, Lahore
as per their prevailing rules and regulations. It is worth mentioning that a
personal appearance of both the parties i.e., landlord and tenant, being
prerequisite as per their by-laws, is made including photographs at their office.
Copy of which has already been provided to concerned lady bank officer as
required by her over telephone. The lady tenant used to remit monthly rent
through her male member as she is a house-hold women.
 As I have completed all the rental laws and necessary formalities, I find
no reason to believe anything suspicious. I am not responsible for their personal
conduct which also cannot be verified from any public source as such all the
payments received as monthly rent from the tenant are very much legitimate and
lawful.

A reasonable time has already been elapsed and due to this unlawful
act, I am facing great financial hardships to run my day-to-day expenses including
purchase of medicines.

I am not satisfied and disagree with your documents provided to me

by the lady officer of your branch on Oct 07, 2021 failing which I would be
restrained to approach Banking Mohtasib to resolve the issue.

I, therefore, again request you to unblock my above joint account

immediately failing which I reserve the right to approach banking mohtasib to
resolve the issue.
