The Ministry of Public Utilities is increasing access to electricity for households and communities in Trinidad and Tobago through its Electrification Programme. This programme provides assistance by financing the Capital cost of electricity poles and infrastructure to provide an electricity supply to your community or individual home. Application forms are available at the MPU's Head Office and all T&TEC's Service Centres. Completed forms should be dropped offat the MPU’s Head Office or any of T&TEC’s Service Centres. To apply, you need to have: + An original letter from the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission (T&TEC) stating the total Capital Contribution cost of the required electricity pole(s)_ and infrastructure; A completed application form requesting that you want to utilise the MPU's Electrification facility to fund the Capital Contribution This programme does not apply to Commercial and Industrial customers or Land Developers. Consideration will be given to religious bodies and community activity centres. =
