3 SAP BusinessObjects Web Intelligence
We've introduced a new Enrichment pane ( ) in the secondary panel to let you edit objects on the fly, change
their qualification, attributes and other related metadata. you can edit any object that's part of the query,
regardless of the data source.
For Excel, Text and Free-Hand SQL queries, the definition of the object qualification is now done exclusively in
the Enrichment pane, and no longer in the query panel when creating the query.
For more information, see About the Web Intelligence user interface and Editing objects properties.
The data source selection dialog as been revamped with categories to group the different types of data
sources: SAP BI Platform Repository, Local, Google Drive, and Web Services.
Web Intelligence now supports Excel and text files hosted on Google Drive, as well as Google Sheets as data
sources.
You can now create queries using OData links generated from visualizations or queries, and reuse them in
existing or new document. After you've copied the OData link, simply reuse that link via the query panel to add
additional data to a new document, or to complete an existing document.
Freeze headers
Freezing headers is back in Web Intelligence, in both Reading and Design mode. From the toolbar, use the
dedicated icon to access the freezing capabilities and freeze all tables, or use the context menu when clicking a

More than simply hiding reports in the reports bar, you can now hide them conditionally based on formulas.

report is then hidden if the formula is true.
Still in the Format panel, you can also add a description to the report using the dedicated text field.
Presentation mode
Available in both Reading and Design mode, the presentation mode allows you to refresh documents regularly
so you can closely monitor a report's data. It's intended for documents that are solely created for dashboard
purposes. You can switch between tabs, selects the reports that you want to cycle through, and so on.
Hyperlinks
Hyperlinks now supports target documents so yo can jump from one document to another. Also, for intra-
document links, it's no longer required to enable JavaScript within the CMC for them to be supported.
