Subject: REPORT UNDER PUNJAB HEALTHCARE COMMISSION ACT, 2010
REGARDING PRACTICE OF QUACKERY - DECISION OF THE
COMMITTEE.

1. This is with reference to report submitted by Deputy District Inspection PHC dated
-09/07/2021 to the Punjab Healthcare Commission (PHC) regarding practice of quackery at
WAQAR DENTAL CLINIC, near HBL, CHIRAH ROAD, RAWALPINDI

2. Persuant to the order of’the Honourable Supreme Court of Pakistan, dated 3.6.2018,
passed in C.M.A No. 4389/20 18, the matter was henrd by the hearing committee ol’ the PHC on
1 5/10/2018 in accordance with the Governing Law and Anti-Quackery Regulations, 2016. It
transpired during said hearing that the respondent is not involved in quackery and operating the
dental clinic through a qualified dentist.

3. Consequently, the committee decided to WARN the respondent to be more

careful in future. The committee ordered for de-scaling of the premises with immediate
effect.

4. Accordingly, you are requested to kindly direct the Authorized Officer.

Concerned to de-seal the above-referred premises under intimation to thc Punjab Healthcare
Commission, Lahore and to keep it under surveillance.
