HISTORY OF YAJOOJ MAJOOJ:
History of “Yajooj Majooj”
by Islamic and scientific point of view is defined below:

BY ISLAMIC POINT OF VIEW:

Yajooj and Majooj is based on words
with specific meaning:
‘Ya’ means one or alone, ‘Jooj’ means to
combine to produce sexually, ‘Ma’ means we or together, ‘Yajooj’ means
alone or to produce asexually (this is why they are huge in numbers) and
‘Majooj’ means we can produce sexually.
They were the two disbelieving tribes among the son of
Adam R.A. they have wide faces and small eyes. They used to spread
mischief on earth, so Allah gave Dhoo’l-Qarnayn the power to build a wall
to prison them. They will keep on digging at it until Allah gives them
permission to come out at the end of time, after Eesa (peace be upon
him) has killed the Dajjaal. They will emerge in huge numbers and will
drink up the lake of Tiberias (in Palestine). They will spread mischief on
earth and no one will be able to resist them. Eesa (peace be upon him)
and the believers with him will take refuge in Mount Toor until Allah
destroys Yajooj and Majooj by sending worms that will eat their necks.
Then Allah will send rain to wash away their bodies into the sea and
cleanse the earth of their stench.
As mentioned above they were prisoned by Zul-Qarnain A.S, he built a
wall around those mountain. The height of the wall is unknown. What is
known is that the height of this wall reaches the height of both
mountains. It is made with blocks or sheets of iron, which is further
strengthened by molten lead. In this manner Yajooj and Majooj are
unable to scale the wall, or cross it, except when it is the will of Allah.
"And when the promise of my Rabb approaces, He will level it to dust"
(Quran 18:98)

Ya'jooj and Majooj are human beings and according to a narration they
are from the progeny of Yafith ibn Nooh (A.S.).

BY SCIENTIFIC VIEW:
While on the other hand, science use to say that
there is no such thing and some say that they are prisoned in the Great
Wall of China while as mentioned in Quran that the wall was made from
iron and coated with molten lead. While this wall is made up from brick
and cement by which others building and walls are made.
And now in
these days they are saying from day to day Great Wall of China is
decreasing, half of its structure is destroyed and half is in unstructured
form that due to improper maintenance management system it couldn’t
resist its usual form. So, science is trying to create fear by saying that
when this wall is finished, it will cause damnation and will free yajooj
majooj which is a baseless argument. So science couldn’t give any
argument or useful information on yajooj majooj as ALLAH has
mentioned in his book that they will rise on the judgment day when he
wants.
