2. Specifications for the Communication Cable

The communication cable used to connect the conveyor controller and computer must satisfy the
specifications listed below.

Interlink Serial Cross Cable

Wiring for the cross cable

Caution: Do not use a cable with wiring like the one shown to the right.
When using a commercially available cable that has wiring like the
one shown to the right (a short circuit exists between pins 7 and 8), frame frame
shield
the motor may run out of control.

Caution: Commercially available cross cables that are compatible with conveyor controller firmware earlier
than V1.36 may not be compatible with firmware V1.36 or later. To ensure the compatibility of cables,
ensure that the wiring is correct before use.
