The survey had a total of 26 participants. There are fourteen questions in the survey.

The first three questions focus on the respondents' backgrounds. It concerns the gender, age,
grade, and section of the responders. The first question concerns the respondents' gender.
According to the poll, 20 of the 26 respondents were female, with males accounting for 23% of
the total. In terms of age, the bulk of the responders (57.7%) were 17 years old. Five of the
responders were 18 years old, 7.7% were 16 years old, 11.5% were 19 years old, and one
respondent is 20 years old.
In response to the statement "Music can help reduce stress," 25 out of 26 people said
yes, while just one answered neutral. 42.3 percent of the respondents agreed that "Music can
also be a source of distraction," while 23.1 percent disagreed and the rest were neutral. 24 of
the respondents agreed with the statement "Music has a beneficial effect on my mood," while
the remaining 7.7% said they disagreed. 11 out of 26 respondents agreed with the statement "I
feel stressed when I have to complete academic work at home," while 38.5 percent said they
were neutral and 19.2 percent said they disagreed. 42.3 percent of all respondents agreed that
"Academic difficulties result to stress," whereas 3.8 percent disagreed and 19.2 percent were
neutral. The final 3.8 percent said, "to other people maybe." All of the respondents agreed with
the statement "Music helps me to relax." For the statement “I feel more stressed when I can’t
listen to music.”, 10 out of 26 respondents answered Neutral while 34.6% and 26.9% showed
agree and disagree, respectively. 69.2% of the total respondents agreed that “Listening to music
helps me to fall asleep” while 11.5% showed that they disagree with the statement and the rest
are neutral. In the statement “I don’t use any methods of relaxation other than music.”, 12 of the
respondents agreed while the last 30.8% showed they disagreed with the statement and 26.9%
are neutral. 84.6 percent of all respondents agreed that "I listen to music to tune out distractions
and help me to stay in focus," whereas 3.8 percent disagreed and 11.5 percent were neutral.
