    A VERY OLD MAN

    A VERY OLD MAN!

    Hi, I want to tell you about what happened to my friend Majo last week.

    It was a quiet evening as usual. At 4:00 pm o’clock, my friend was home

    alone so she decided to watch some fun Youtube videos in her bedroom.

    Before that she took a shower and turned on her computer. She was ready to

    start, when she heard a weird noise. She checked the computer to identify the

    noise but it sounded far away; therefore, she thought that it came from the

    street.

    She ran to the entrance door of the house and saw a very old man. The man

    rang the bell of three houses. My friend was scared, that was a strange man.

    My friend opened the door, but the man disappeared; she could not see him

    anywhere. She then went back to her bedroom, and power went out in her

    house. My friend screamed out of fear, she called her father but he did not

    answer the phone. Majo felt nervous, she said to herself ‘’I think I am going

    to die today’’. There was the terrific sound again.


    Majo took her new smartphone and lit up the space with the flashlight. She

    saw the old man walking a few houses across the street, and she also called

    the police. The policeman was fast to answer the call, Majo told him

    everything about the awful sounds and the old man; the policeman said that he

    would arrive in five minutes. Time passed by and each second was eternal,

    but the police finally arrived to make Majo feel safe.

    It was a big surprise for Majo when the policeman walked to her house with

    the stranger. It turned out that the old man was a worker for the Public Energy

    Company and he was visiting the neighborhood to charge people for the

    service. Majo understood that her parents had not paid for the service and the

    man cut off the cables from the energy provider. The policeman laughed out

    loud because of Majo’s fear. In the end, her father came home and paid for the

    worker to reconnect power to the house
