Under Gk(Sel}, define the setfweight for beam, column, stab and rafter. For this purpose, you need to have two selfweights. Make sure you select the direction Global Y. Because the floor located 3.5m from the ground, Define Y range minimum and maximum of 3.5m, Under Gk(Roof) and Qk(Roof), use Member Load. Consider 0.5 kN/m? for services & ceiling (bottom cord), 1.0kNim? for roof tile & puriin (top cord) and 0.25kN/m? for variable action of roof (top cord). These loads must be distributed to the rafter, hence become uniform load of 2kN/im (services and ceiling), 4kN/m (roof tile and purlin) and 1kNim (variable action of roof). [ 2 8. Alter completing the load, now create the load combination for the analysis and design. Basically, there are three types of load combination, (i) maximum Ned (for Ultimate Limit State) using 1.35Gk + 1.5Qk, (ii) minimum Ned (for Ultimate Limit State) using 1.35Gk, and (ii) Serviceabilty Limit State using 1.0Gk + 1.0Qk. Consider ULS(Max) for maximum Ned, ULS(Min) for minimum Ned and SLS for Serviceabilty Limit State. To create these load combination, click at Load Cases Details >>> Add >>> Define Combination, Make sure you insert proper value of ai according the safety factor for variable and permanent actions. If you want to proceed with design, itis necessary to define the envelope based on the load combination. Here, the envelope is based on ULS(Max) and ULS(Min) only. If the analysis satisfies with all requirements, then proceed to the steel design.
