Nowadays, it is harder to find money to spend on yourself and your family, than to find a job.

Of

course, it would really be unfair if you yourself pay all your taxes for you to find out that some Filipinos

run away from their responsibility: paying their taxes. The Run After Tax Evaders were enacted on March

of 2005 and after its enactment, they gathered around 87 complaints of tax evasion including those

actors, businessmen, famous and well-known personalities and even public officials.

There are a lot of advantages on having this kind of law in accordance with the Administrative

Order No. 277-A which is entitled as “Amending Section 2 of Administrative Order No. 277, Series of

2010 Creating an Independent Committee to Review, Assess and Evaluate All the Important Smuggling

and Tax Evasion Cases Handled by the Bureau of Internal Revenue and the Bureau of Customs”. One of

this is that you know that each citizen of the country is obliged to pay their taxes and that we are

assured that they cannot run from their obligations. You also could report those who are evading tax

payment, and that is a great deal given that people have evidence to such accusations. This also comes

with High publicity and communication meaning you get to be known for not paying your taxes. It would

be very embarrassing if you are a high-profile personality yet you evade such responsibility, isn’t it?

This also means that I don’t see anything that could be a result of negativity or disadvantage

except if they are exposed to the public. But it would still be for the greater good, and that would still be

for the better, one way or another.
