Stop snoozing your alarm!

You probably always feel that relaxing feeling once all the squares written on
your small scrap paper are finally checked on Fridays. But then, Monday will come
with just a blink of eye and you would say, “Aaaaahh.. Here we go again!”

School could be tiresome always with those tons of assignments to do, quizzes to
be reviewed, performance tasks to be excelled, and plus your home responsibilities.
There are times that we spiral into usual thoughts…
“What’s the point of all of these?
Everyone is better than me, and is this worth it?
Why does time seems to slow down?”

We sometimes lose sight on why we study, why we seek for educational

attainment. When those questions become drugs, students envision themselves as a
product of their work, working only to please others. This drives a toxic obsession
with validation. We, as students, are not just here to work, we are here to learn, even
if the only thing that matters seems to be a grade on a paper.

Often on, we think that the clock ticks slowly than before. It maybe because we
are looking forward on weekends or anticipating to finish the long years at school.
Another is that we suddenly lose or degrade motivation to continue pursuing the
career we want to take. It is common for us to alter our interests and not be sure yet of
our own tracks since we are still young and we must know that it is just fine.

When we, students, feel a little saccharine on waking up for another day to go to
school, perhaps now is the time to conceive for inspirations. Think of your future self,
your old self, your family, and anything that will make you feel inspired. Remember
that school is not just for you to learn lessons in books, but also to have friends. If you
finally feel uplift, you would realize that the clock move fast.

Know that your friends, classmates, and schoolmates also go through on

questioning one’s selves. It is just a matter of wisely answering ourselves back. Find
reasons to arouse yourself. Being inspired allows you to become passionate, develop
yourself, broaden your perspectives, and turn on your engine of motivation that will
lead you to think of school days as a thrilling part of life.

Focus on nows because this is what the future is composed of. Changing our
minds will change the reality. As the quote says,  "Once you replace negative
thoughts with positive ones, you'll start having positive results."
