Information technology in our lives can be beneficial but, at the same time, a risk as we slowly
depend on it. Many jobs will be lost as technology overtakes such. Though it may be an efficient
move for the corporate, people who work manually will lose their jobs as decisions are made to
become faster (Hayes, n.d). On the other hand, people who are tech-savvy and able to craft
software and computer related will be much more needed, creating a higher demand for these
courses (Hayes, n.d).

Overall, it is still a mixed bag for Information Technology. As with every advantage, they also
equate to disadvantages that could be detrimental to society. As we slowly use technology to
the best of its worth, losing touch between reality and the physical world could also ensue.
