Nowadays people have to make a decision to either live in a village or in a city. This choice
has a big impact in your life. It has a tremendous impact on your lifestyle and the lifestyle of
your potential kids. Such as work, education and social environment. In this essay the
following question will be answered: Are cities a better place for people to live in than the
countryside or small villages?

The first reason to live in city as young people is work. Young people have more chance to
find work in the city than at the countryside or in small villages. The city offers more work.
For example, you can be a clerk as a student. In small villages there are probably a limited
jobs to choose, these are already two reasons to not live in small villages.

Another reason why living in the city is better in in your early years is because of education.
In the city are much more school and directions you can go to. There is a great variety of
studies you can do in an big city. And you can always choose to study in another city. This is
choice many students make, even the ones that grow up in an little town.

For young people it is important to socialize. They can meet and make more friends in the
city because there are more people living in cities compared to small villages. In small
villages there is more personal space and rest.

To sum up: cities have a higher potential for work, education and social life. In this respect it
is better to live in the city. However, in the countryside or small villages there is more
personal space.
