Advantages and Disadvantages of Social Networks

Social Networking has become more indispensable for everyone today. It helps us to connect with
more people no matter how far away we are, and we can get information from all over the world
without having to travel. Plus, it is easier to find a job or get into a business, and it allows us to
acquire new knowledge because of the vast amount of information that exists. For example,
WhatsApp is one of the most used social networks since, it has the facility to send messages quickly
that writing a letter, would take much longer. On the other hand, society becomes more
consumerist of junk information, plus people have less privacy because every activity they do is
published. In addition, sometimes, people lose more interaction with their social and family
environment. In our opinion, people should learn to use social networks as a tool to discover new
things in a responsible way, because if we are self-dependent on a social network, we will spend less
time with the real world.
