& D. Falla, (2022); the study about Measurement of smartphone applications to measure neck
range of motion that with and without neck pain.

The participants were/the setting were in adult people with neck pain and without neck pain, were

method was used to evaluate the evidence quality.

The findings were that there were 11 trials in total, with 376 participants. Clinometer applications,

and inter-rater reliability were found to be 'good' to 'excellent' across the three categories of
applications in a meta-analysis.

Across all applications, the overall validity was graded from moderate to very high. The evidence
was graded from poor to very low.

The authors suggested Smartphone apps are accurate, however the evidence quality and trust in
the conclusions are low; but to further support the measuring characteristics of smartphone
applications for the evaluation of neck ROM, high-quality research with large sample numbers is
required.
