I am writing to apply for the position of bookseller at the Bristol Airport in The United
Kingdom . Passionate about books since my childhood, I’m really interested by this job. In
fact, I have the desire to pass down many of my passions like reading, writing and literature. I
especially try to inspire people about the culture of books by running a literary blog on
Wordpress. Moreover, I have a master’s degree in the field of french literature and
mediations. That is one of the reason why i applied for this job. Furthermore, I have a work
experience relevant with what you offer. I have indeed made an internship inside a bookseller
in France. My internship took place in the “librairie de la pensée sauvage” in Metz. I learned
a lot of things about the bookseller job and it allowed me to discover my true vocation. I also
took part in a book fair named “Le livre à Metz”. Through this event, I discovered a
wonderful world. I sold books, I met many authors and editors, I participated in a poetry
event. It was truly enriching for me. I am able to advice customers to find their perfect read so
I think it can be very useful and that is why I think I am a good candidate for the job.
