Nowadays, especially during the pandemic, many people prefer to drive

their own vehicle to travel for social distancing or even just to be at their own
comfort, yet there are also a number of people who suggest that private vehicle
should be restricted for environmental matters. However, in my opinion, private
vehicle shouldn’t be restricted for many reasons.
First of all, driving your own car is much safer than using public
transportation. You do not have to risk your belongings being stolen or being
abused, especially for women and students, whereas on a public transports (bus,
taxi, etc.), you will feel anxious all the time since bad things can happen at any
moment and for sure, the transport will not have good hygiene, which a lot of
people are allergic to. When driving your car, you feel much more comfortable and
is, usually, clean.
Secondly, you can be more flexible driving private transportation. Unlike
public transports which already have fixed schedule, private car and motorcycle
allow you adjust your time to school or work schedules. You can be more relax
and need not worry about missing out a bus or train which can result in you being
late.
In conclusion, the argument to restrict private vehicles cannot be upheld as it
makes people much more vulnerable to crimes like burglary and assault, and risks
people’s comfortability and flexibility.
