Online Ticket Redemption guidelines

1. Online sales of tickets

1.1 The tickets are sent to the given e-mail address as PDF (e-voucher) which will be used to redeem ticket.
1.2 REMINDER: Please ensure email address is correct. Should notification email is not received, please check into junk/ spam folder and retrieve.
1.3 Ticket is valid for one-time (1) redemption only.
1.4 Proof of identification is required each ticket for the following ticket categories:

Malaysia
Adult (MyKad)
Children (4-12 years) (MyKid)
Senior Citizen (>60 years)

*MyKad/ MyKid/ Resident ID

2. Payment procedures
2.1 You may pay by credit card, debit and online banking are accepted.
2.2 We accept the following credit cards: Master Card, and VISA

3. Redemption Guidelines
3.1 Please proceed to ticket COUNTER 7/ COUNTER 8 (Online Booking) upon arrival.
3.2 Tickete must be redeemed by the selected "Visit Date" or within 14 days from "Visit Date".
3.3 To Promote green practices and you are encouraged to show your booking confirmation via mobile device. Printed copy of booking confirmation is also accepted.
3.4 Tickets can be redeemed at Penang Hill designated - COUNTER 7/ COUNTER 8.
3.5 Guest must how their valid *MyKad/ MyKid/ Resident ID for verification with booking confirmation to received actual ticket.
3.6 PHC reserves the right to impose standard rate should the customer fail to produce valid identification (MyKad/ MyKid/ Resident ID).
3.7 For group purchase ticket must be redeemed on the same date and time, split or multiple redemptions are prohibited.
3.8 Please consult our customer service staff for assistance upon arrival.

4 Penang Hill Funicular Train General Rules

4.1 Penang Hill funicular service operates 6:30am to 11pm. Please check our official website www.penanghill.gov.my for latest information about operation hours, events and latest promotions.
4.2 Guests may be required to provied official receipts for verification purposes. Guests are required to keep their tickets for exit at the Lower Station.
4.3 PHC may refuse ticket holder from boarding the funicular coach (without refund or compensation) in the event of failure to comply with safety rules or for offensive or dangerous behaviour.
4.4 PHC will not be held responsible for any loss of property within its premises and in the funicular coaches.
4.5 Pets are strictly NOT allowed into the funicular coaches.
4.6 Guests are advised to supervise their children at all times. Children below 13 years old must be accompanied by an adult to gain admission.
4.7 Tickets are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. Drinking and Eating are NOT allowed in the funicular coaches.
4.8 PHC reserves the right to change the operating hours of the Funicular Services, or temporary close the Station or any part of it, or restrict the number of person boarding the funicular train.
4.9 Guest are NOT allowed to carry items that may offensive cause inconvenience or annoyance to other guests.
4.10 Dangerous items such as firearms, weapons, hazardous materials are strictly prohibited inside the premises of PHC and the funicular system.
4.11 Safety of our guests is our top priority. Guets are advised to abide by the rules and regulations as stipulated in the above.
