To Whom It May Concern:

Nikhil Lakshman has worked with us on a project as an intern for the period of May till September.

The project was to look at the use of AI and Machine Learning in the anti-human trafficking sector
and how we could apply some of those techniques to strengthen the fight against this crime.

I have found Nikhil to be very courteous in all his communication. He has also shown initiative and
come up with his own ideas, which he has proposed to us.

There were some challenges in regards to the availability of data but he didn’t let that stop him and
he was proactive and found alternative sources of data to utilise for the project.

The quality of the output was of a good standard. The structure of the report was well-thought out
and the findings were presented in a clear and informative manner.

The findings themselves were very interesting and relevant to the project and to the work both from
a global and Indian perspective.

There are many positive qualities about Nikhil that I have observed in these last few months. Even
though he has worked remotely, he has been able to be a self-starter and deliver a quality product in
the given time despite various challenges.
