I'm going to talk about a woman who defended women's rights.

her name
was Elizabeth Cady Stanton, born in 1815 and died in 1902.

who was Elizabeth Cady Stanton?


she was an important abolitionist for the women's movements, she was
also a writer, most of her books were in appeal to the valorization of
women and in appeal to equal rights.

she was also president of the National Woman Suffrage Association for 20
years. about her life-she was born in new york, her father was a lawyer and
her father always supported her in every movement, since she was little
elizabeth showed interest in gender equality

she married henry stanton in 1840 and ended up having 7 children who
followed their mother's ideas and supported gender equality.

although defending the rights of women during the civil war she strove to
abolish slavery

after her death, her husband and children continued to follow her ideas,
ending projects such as publishing books and producing lectures and new
offers for legislation that would guarantee gender equality
