I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students should be able to:
a. Identify the different kind of measuring tools.
b. Appreciate the uses of each tool in proper measurement.
c. Apply learning on the different kind of measuring tools.
II. SUBJECT MATTER
TOPIC: USE OF TOOLS AND BAKERY EQUIPMENT
REFERENCE: DepEd K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum Technology and Livelihood
Education Learning Module (Bread and Pastry Production)
MATERIALS: Smart TV, Pictures, Actual tools
VALUES FOCUS: Participative Performance, Coordination and Direct attention
III. PROCEDURE
A. PREPARATION

B. MOTIVATION
The teacher will show different pictures in the power point presentation and ask
the following guide questions:
1. What have you observed in the pictures?
2. What do you think is the reason why this happened?
3. How can we prevent this kind of situation?
C. ACTIVITY
Arranging the jumbled letters.
The teacher will show jumbled letter in the presentation and let the students get
the correct answer. Selected students will give the correct answers.

E. APPLICATION
The teacher will divide the class into 4 groups. Each group will be given a tool to
be described by a member. They will be given enough time to construct ideas to be
presented by the chosen representative of each group in front of the class.

D. GENERALIZATION
The teacher will ask the students:
1. What are the importance of knowing the different kitchen tools and equipment and
their uses?

CLASSIFICATION. Classify the following to which table it belong.
V. ASSIGNMENT
Make an advance study about the different cutting tools and baking equipment. And
prepare for an oral questioning next meeting.
