Reflect on your study of 21st Century Philippine and World Literatures

in Senior High School in precisely five sentences. What was your experience in
studying it? How effective was your study of the said subject?

“Literature deserves its prestige for one reason: because it's a tool to help us
live and die with a little more wisdom, goodness, and sanity."

Studying 21st Century Philippines and World has provided me with three
key takeaways from this field of study. First, working with other people is one of
the most productive ways to study literature because it enables us to
communicate and share our thoughts with others. I can still remember that my
teacher in the literature subject would always do watching movies when we were
in senior high school. This is one of the reasons why collaboration is one of the
most effective ways to study literature. Furthermore, creativity and artistry are
ways that help me as a student because literature is not only about reading or
analyzing some masterpieces of an author, but also about how I can create a
literary work that is creative and has quality. Additionally, I was grateful that I
had the opportunity to study the 21st Century Philippines and World in advance
and be acquainted with our Philippine Literature and Culture because literature
deserves its prestige for one reason: because it is a tool to help us live and die
with a little more wisdom, goodness, and sanity.
