LISTENING – TRANSCRIBING

The heart wants what it wants – Selena Gomez

You got me sippin on something

I can´t compare to nothing
I´ve ever know, i´m hoping
That after this fever, I survive
I know I´m actig a crazy
Strong out, a Little hazy
Hand over heart, I´m praying
That I´m gonna make it out alive
The bed´s getting cold and you´re not here
The future that we hold is so and clear
But I´m not alive until you call
And know bet the odd against it all
Seve you advice, cause I won´t hear
You might be righ, but I don´t care
There´s a million reasons why I should give you up
But, the heart wants what it wants
REFLECTION
Presentation: The strategy is called transcribing and with this you can improve the listening
and pronunciation.

Practice: The exercise is applied by listening to a part of the song and writing what I hear,
without seeing the lyrics. Then, I compare what I wrote with the actual lyrics of the song.

Evaluation: The result was positive, because I improve my listening, but I must review
much more because there are many words that I do not understand and when I look at how
it is written if I know what it is.

Expansion: This strategy would be used for oral exam preparation, class participation and
speaking with other people.
