1st: Mesa comes from the Spanish word “La Mesa” literally means ―table‖, in Filipinos
“Mesa” usually refer to us as our dining table. “Lokal” simply translated in English as “local”.
Due to the love and support of the team to the Filipino delicacies, the location and local product
of the area, the business is eco-friendly place and made out of local materials. From the tagline
“Your Second Dining Table.”, means that the restaurant is your second dining table after your
dining table at home. The business is a Filipino and local themed casual dining restaurant that
offers local cuisines that can be served at the dining table with the feeling of being at home with
your family. The objectives of the business are be one of the food establishments that supports
the use of local crafts and products, Give customers a remarkable experience, Achieving
specific financial goals, To provide quality services towards its customers.

2nd: Our target market are THE FAMILY TRAVELERS, LOCALS, TEACHERS AND STUDENTS,
CHURCH GOERS and OTHER NEARBY ESTABLISHMENTS. The location of the facility is
nearby at the heart of the town, the following target markets will be the reasons to work well the
business.

3rd: Our competitors are the nearby food business establishment that are also serving local
Filipino casual foods, and also considering the time of the business operations and locations
such as Tan Wanam Restaurant, Drexel‘s Restaurant and Resort, Tamayo's Food Kiosk, Stat
Food Station and McDonalds.

4th: For our Menu we have Mesa ala carte includes letchon pork belly, pork/chicken sisig,
chicken inasal, pork/beef tapa and pork/beef bulalo and for the Mesa group meals includes
mesarap meals, mesarap eh meals, Mesarap talaga meals and mesarap masyado meals and
for the mesa panghimagas includes Maja blanca, halo-halo, leche flan, sinukmani and sorbetes
and for the mesa inumin includes fresh buko juice, pineapple juice and sagot gulaman.

5th: The Mesa lokal is a food establishment that will be located at Brgy. A Rosario,
Batangas along the way of Gualberto Avenue and passing Rosario-San Juan-Candelaria Road.
It has 224 sq. meters allotted service areas while parking space consume 171 sq. meters and
105 sq. meters for the setbacks with a total of 500 sq. meters lot. In terms of topography, it is a
flat land area and the subsoil condition is a mixture of small rocks and topsoil that results to a
firm and a perfect land soil for building establishment. There is a wide canal situated at the back
of the site so that there is no problem for drainage. The water is provided by Prime Water
Infrastructure Corporation. Electricity will be provided by BATELEC II (Batangas II Electric
Cooperative, Inc.) Cellphone signals and internet connections are also available at the site.

6th: As we present the floor plan, mesa local dining area has space allocation for comfort room,
photo booth, counter area and sanitation area. As you can see we separate the six seater dining
table from four seater dining table using the plant wall partition to have a quite privacy from each
of the customer. We added staff room, office room and storage area for the better service for
the guest.

7th: Based on the design of our floor plan of Mesa Lokal the flow of operation become clearly
starting from the flow of employees, customers, supplies, service and waste.

9th: Again, Everyone Welcome to mesa Lokal.

Mesa Lokal is a Filipino casual dining restaurant that offers local delicacies in a local designed
setting. Mesa lokal is inspired by local products of the area. Main materials used are
woods/bamboo. While the motif will be the pallete of brown with green which made Mesa Lokal
more comfortable, fresh and classic.

From here, dining area is exposed to a natural sun light during the day as the front wall was
sliding glass with a wood fence in front.

During night industrial wooden and metal pendant light, and rattan light will be the ambient light
of the restaurant.

Most of its tools, furniture were wooden and locally made. Even its ceiling is made out of wood
(ipapakita yung ceiling) to have a great air ventilation inside. Indoor and outdoor plants will be
added for a healthy, comfy and at home atmosphere.
