RTU Metaverse Campus Tech Talk

“Accenture’s role in the metaverse is to make it sustainable”. When I saw the webinar topic
"metaverse," the first thing that sprang to me was "virtual reality," because the word "meta" is
something I often hear when I play games, and the "verse" is anything linked to reality, such as
universe and multiverse. Though it is slightly connected, it just touches the surface of the
subject.

The metaverse is one of the evidence that our world is rapidly evolving and improving. Several
years ago, this notion was merely a dream, but it is currently being developed and used.
Throughout the webinar, I learned how the virtual world can interact with the real world and vice
versa, and how this medium may blur the lines between the two. It is also stated that metaverse
are now being utilized by big brands and companies for their marketing and promotion. and
these are just the start of it. It's wonderful to hear that the metaverse is the next phase in our
society's progress, and that it will become the new standard sooner or later. However, it is
concerning to consider that, in the future, this will be entirely interwoven into our environment,
making it difficult to discern between the actual and virtual worlds.
