ONLINE EDUCATION

Online education is a flexible instructional delivery method that encompasses any learning that
occurs through the internet or internet-based. It provides students with the opportunity to obtain
educational experience by the use of technology. Distance learning allows instructors to interact with
students who may not be able to enroll in a regular classroom course, as well as students who need
to work on their own time and pace. This proves how convenient it is not only for the students, but
also for those who want to attain education despite their age or status in life.

There are five connected e-learning classifications in online education to understand the
efficiency of distinct e-learning modalities. The following five e-learning classifications: e-learning
without presence and without e-communication (self-learning), e-learning without presence and with
e-communication (asynchronous), e-learning with virtual presence and with e-communication
(synchronous), e-learning with occasional presence and with e-communication (blended/hybrid-
asynchronous), and e-learning with presence and with e-communication (blended/hybrid-
synchronous).

Teachers and students in online education only meets in virtual environment. The established
feature enables for active contact between students and professors. Sources are exchanged through
these connections, and an open-ended synergy emerges as a result of the learning process. It allows
the learner to learn better when each person bestows a view or opinion through conversations and
comments on others' work. This distinct benefit is exhibited in a virtual learning environment that is
student-centered, something that the online learning format alone cannot provide.

Increased educational access is one of the possible benefits of online education. It gives a high-
quality learning opportunity, enhances student results and abilities, and broadens educational choice
alternatives. As a result of online education, location, time, and quality are no longer regarded issues
in obtaining degree courses or higher education.
