3 months later ~

Anika

"This is so exhausting",Arshi groans as she throws her head

back on her chair .

"How much is it le! ?",I ask

"Not much we will finish it by today",she says .

"Where are the others?",I ask .

"They went for a break at cafeteria",she says .

"Why didn't you go then ?",I ask .

"Going now just wanted to finish the design first ",she says .

Standing up from her chair she decides to go to cafeteria

but stops .

"What about you Miss.Anika come we both will go ",she

says .

"Nah I'm fine I'm not hungry had a heavy lunch ",I reply .

"Are you sure ?".

"Yes I am sure ".

Nodding she went to the cafeteria and I continued to

proceed my work .

We have been given a huge project this time and it's not for
India it's for London . Our branch in London hasn't hired
interior designers yet so we have been told to make the
architecture and interior for it .

And for this we have leave for London next week . Our
whole department has to go and ofcourse Kabir and Yash
are coming too .

We don't know how long are we gonna stay there so while

Kabir and Yash are not present Papa will look a!er India
branch .

"Mam ?",it was Bhushan .

"Yes ?"

"You are expected to show the designs for the Delhi hotel
project to Mr. Kabir and Yash today before leaving",he says .

"Okay I will thankyou for informing",I say and he went away

Before going to London we had to complete the Delhi Hotel

project too whose architect was done only interior is le! .

The London Project is a joint project between 3 companies ;

MALHOTRA INDUSTRIES , WILLIAM CORP. , ANDERSON
INDUSTRIES .

Willam Corp. and Anderson Industries are orignally situated

in Newyork they have a branch in Paris and London . So
these three companies had decided on a joint project for a
hotel + restaurant in London . And if this project is
successful William Corp and Anderson Industries can enter
Indian Market and more opportunites for Malhotra
Industries will be opened in the International Market .

A!er everyone came back I informed them about what

Bhushan told me and we quickly started working on
finishing our designs .

Here I sit infront of Kabir and Yash nervously as they can

reject the designs anytime .

Even though I am Kabir's wife now and Yash's Bhabhi that

dosen't means they will go easy on me . Already a lots of
designs are rejected by them for the Delhi hotel .

"Okay good Job Mrs.Anika ",Kabir says getting up and

stretches his hand forward for a handshake .

"Thankyou Mr.Kabir ",I say as we shook hands .

"Good Job Mrs. Anika ",Yash says forwarding his hand for
handshake .

"Thankyou Mr. Yash ",I say while accepting his handshake .

"Your department never dissapoints",Yash says .

"Looking forward for London project",Kabir says .

STORY CONTINUES BELOW

"Hope you and your department will do their best ", Kabirs
says

"We will sir ",I say and then I'm dismissed .

We three are full in professional mode as boss and

employee at the company . Even Kabir and Yash call each
other Mr. Kabir and Mr . Yash . '

As soon as we are out of the company

we are husband , wife , devar(husband's younger brother )
for me ; husband , wife , bhai for Kabir and bhai , bhabhi
and devar for Yash .

"We are home ",Kabir , Yash and Me yell in unison as soon

as we enter .

Chacha , chachi , Jay , Naksh and Rishi are here too .

Sometimes they all come to our house for dinner

sometimes we go as ;as per Ma and Chachi why cook two
di"erent meals for dinner when they all live just opposite of
each other so one week we all go at their home and one
week they all come here and the cycled goes on .

"Go and get change and then come down ",Ma says .

It was like everyday routine me , Kabir and Yash goes for

morning jog and workout at gym with Rohan every
morning and then a!er getting ready and having breakfast
we leave for company in 3 di"erent cars . I use my own and
drive to company by myself as I can't be seen with Kabir or
Yash outside of work as I wasn't revealed yet . Kabir and
Yash uses their own cars as sometimes it can happen one of
them has to stay for few more hours at company.

Then a!er coming back whole family spend time together

having evening snacks and chai/co"ee at our place or
Chacha , Chachi's place and then we have dinner together .

"I have something to announce",Jay says suddenly .

"What is it beta(son)?",chachi asks.

"I umm ",

"What is it ?",chacha asks .

"Bhai don't tell me you made a girl pregnant !",Rohan says . '

"Bhaiya really ? Is it true ?!",Yash , Naksh ,Rishi yell in

unision .

"What shut up you three I didn't",Jay says .

"Then what is it ?",Kabir asks .

"I um I- ",Jay says .

"You love someone don't you?",I say as all eyes are now on
me .

Jay goes silent and then all eyes go back to him .

"You do ?",Ma asks .

"Yes I do ",Jay says .

"Omg finally !",Rohan and Rishi gets up and start jumping .

"Who is she ?",Papa asks .

"Bhabhi knows her ",Jay says as all eyes are on me again .

"Bhabhi you know her that how you guessed it

right?",Naksh says .

"Bhabhi you were supposed to tell us too ",Rohan says .

"What no I just guessed and I was right even Yash was

nervous like him when he told us about Riya",I say .

Riya Shashtri , Yash's girlfriend was introduced to us soon

a!er Yash told us about her . She was beautiful ,Kind and
everyone liked her quickly . She had that aura which made
people like her quickly and she was well -manared too .

"But Jay how do I know her ?",I ask.

"Uhh she works with you",he says .

"In my department?",I ask and he nods .

"Who is it Arshi , Aarya or Radha?",I ask .

"Arshi , Arshi Shah ",he says . '

"Bhabhi how is she ?"

"What does she looks like?"

"Is she kind ?"

"Wait wait let me answer one by one",I say .

"She is beautiful , kind she does her work well I am actually

more close to her than my other colleagues",I say .

"How did you two meet and when?",Chacha asks

"2 years ago at the mall , she was there with her friends
Aarya and Radha who work with her and Bhabhi . I was
there too with my friends and I accidently made her fall and
she had went all wild on me and the rest is history ",he says
smiling at the memory .

"Whipped ",we all say in unsion except Jay .

"So does she knows who you are?",Papa asks .

"No she dosen't knows . I hid it from her to see is she falls in
love with me or my identity ",He says .

"When are you planning to tell her your true

identity?",chachi asks

"A!er I propose her ",He says .

"Oh ho propose her ",Naksh says wiggling his eyebrows .

What's with these Malhotra men and them wiggling their

eyebrows ?

"Planning to marry her huh ?",Chacha says as he wiggled

his eyebrows too making Jay blush .

"Wait I didn't ask for all of your permission should I propose

her?",Jay asks .

"Why ask us beta it is your life your decision if you love her
then who we are to stop you ? ",chachi says as Jay sighes in
relief .

"So when are you proposing her?",Kabir asks .

"Tomorrow !",Jay says quickly .

"Wait what if she gets angry at you to as you hid your

identity ?",Naksh says as he received a glare from everyone
present in the room .

"I will handle it I know she will understand it ",Jay says .

"Are you sure you can if that happens ?",Ma asks .

"Yes I'm ",he says .

"And if she gets angry you have 5 brothers and 1 bhabhi too
who is her friend to make her understand",Rohan says .

A!er dinner was done me and Kabir went for our night walk
.

Since Kabir has told me he likes me and wants to court me

we both for a night walk at our neighbourhood which is
safe as no media is allowed . We talk about our day and
other things as we walk and hold hands .

As much as I like Kabir asking for my permission to hold my

hand but then I told him he dosen't needs to ask my
permission for it . At first he disagreed thinking it will make
me uncomfortable if he suddenly holds my hands . He was
like what if you don't want to hold my hand that time and
all . I had to assure him that is totally fine .

Taking a shawl for me and a jacket for Kabir as it was cold

outside we both went outside .

I hand him his jacket and wrap the shawl around myself .

He slips his hand in mine interwining our fingers as we start

walking .

There was a comfortable silence as we walk when Kabir

says .

"Anika "

"Hmm ?"

"Are you happy?",he asks .

"Why so sudden question?",I ask.

"Just wanted to ask ",he shrugs .

"Are you happy ?".

"Yes I'm very happy I love this family",I say giving him a
smile .

"Do I make you uncomfortable?",he asks .

"What happened ? Is something bothering you?",I ask as we

stop walking .

"Just nothing ",he shurgs again .

"No there is something tell me".

"It just I have heard you crying many times during these 3
months of our marriage",he says taking me by suprise .

"What is wrong Anika?",he asks .

I stay silent for few minutes not knowing what to say .

Should I tell him why ? Why was I crying ?

Someday he has to know but is it the right time ?

"I can't tell you yet I'm sorry but this isn't a right time ",I say
.

"3 months Anika I have been courting you still don't trust
me?",he asks . Dissappointment clear on his face.

"I do but - ",Kabir cuts me o" .

"What but Anika ?".

"It is not easy to trust someone easily".

"What happened in your past Anika?",he asks .

"Did I do something wrong in the past 3 months?".

"Don't blame yourself I can't tell you much but I will just
not right now but when it is the right time and I really do
blame my ex for the way I view relationships. I gave that
man my all and I got dropped like I wasn't shit . So sorry if I
hesitate on liking/loving you , trusting you , or giving you
my all . It isn't you , it's me . I'm working on it ". I say '

"I'm sorry Anika ".

"why are you sorry there is no need to be sorry"I say.

A tear slipped through both of our eyes . My one hand

automatically went on his face as I gently wiped the tear of
his face with my thumb he did too . '

We both stare into each others eyes his hand still on my

face my hand still on his face .

Slowly his other hand went on my other cheek and now my

face was cupped by his hands . His eyes asking my
permission .

He came forward and gently pressed a long kiss on my

forhead .

A!er he releases my face I look at him and give him a smile .

"Don't ask my permission to kiss me on my forhead too ",I

say .

"Are you sure ?",he asks .

"Yes I'm sure very much sure ",I say .

I move towards him and cup his face too with my hands and
stare at him asking his permission too .

I tip toe and place a gentle long kiss on his forhead .

"This is my way of telling I'm starting to trust you ",I say . '
