The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan complies with the mandate of RA No. 10121
of 2010, which establishes the legal framework for disaster-related policies, plans, and programs. The
NDRRMP focuses on the following four thematic areas. which acts as "the main manual for disaster risk
reduction and management."
The DRRM plan involved many roles for young adults, but the most prevalent ones were raising awareness
of the disaster, getting ready in advance, and planning. Some of the roles that young adults can play for
the plan include these three. Many people benefit greatly from the disaster's awareness-raising efforts
because they can help people prepare before it strikes and make evacuation plans.
In conclusion, each citizen has a variety of ways to contribute to the DRRM plan. It can begin with a
straightforward message of raising awareness before moving on to saving stranded individuals. The
impact of a disaster on a citizen will be lessened as awareness and preparedness increase.
