Five valuable lessons I learnt in 2020

2020 was very different from the other past years. The COVID-19 Pandemic brought
unexpected changes in our daily lifestyle, even though they seemed to be negative, the most
important thing is what we learnt from them.
When the schools were closed for the first time, not all teachers and students were prepared for
online classes, so we had to study a lot by ourselves. It was very difficult to understand some of
the school subjects without teachers’ explanations and it took a while until we started online
classes, remaining behind with the courses. From this event we learnt how to handle by
ourselves.
One negative aspect about online classes was the lack of interaction with teachers and
classmates and we learnt the importance of socialization.
We have to be thankful for what we have because we can lose them after some disturbing events
and only then we can realise their importance. Such thing are: health, friendship, traveling,
breathing fresh air, going out.
During lockdown I had the opportunity to improve some of my skills and hobbies. I always
loved to read, draw and handcrafting and then I had more time for these activities.
Even in those hard times I’ve never felt alone because I’ve always had the support of my family.
