dreams through its professional recruiting services. Its main portfolio of companies are
the leading players in the recruitment industry in Vietnam. The group is comprised of
www.VietnamWorks.com, an online recruitment portal and Navigos Search, an
executive search firm. Through 18 years of operating in Vietnam, Navigos Group’s

greatest asset is the largest and most comprehensive database of Vietnamese
professionals. Known for its strong service culture and people-centric management, the
group has maintained the status as the leading recruiting service in Vietnam since
foundation in 2002 (Navigos Group website, 2021).
Role
You are working as a newly appointed, Trainee Executive Search Consultant. Part of
your role is using social media platforms to contact and recruit potential clients and
employees for your clients to meet their brief. Understanding leadership and
management skills and competencies is crucial to your role, as you will be reviewing
CVs and filtering applicants, and interviewing and assessing their skills to see if they are
the best fit for the job.

(D1) Critically evaluate importance of leadership and management styles in
setting and embedding organizational culture.
