Strona bierna –konstrukcje osobowe

Zdania złożone, w których występują takie czasowniki, jak:

believe, expect, know, report, say, think zamieniane na stronę
bierną będą występować w dwóch konstrukcjach:

People say (that) he is rich. (Ludzie mówią, że on jest bogaty.)

1) z podmiotem bezosobowym:

It is said that he is rich. (Mówi się, że on jest bogaty.)

2) z podmiotem osobowym: -1-

He is said to be rich. (Mówi się, że on jest bogaty.)

Zdania z podmiotem osobowym, jaki bezosobowym tłumaczymy

na język polski tylko w jeden sposób – jako formę bezosobową,
np.: mówi się, uważa się, twierdzi się itd.

Bardziej skomplikowane jest przekształcanie zdania
złożonego na konstrukcję z podmiotem osobowym.
Co należy zrobić?

 jako podmiot zdania w stronie biernej stawiamy podmiot

zdania podrzędnego w stronie czynnej;

 stawiamy czasownik zdania nadrzędnego w stronie biernej

czasu teraźniejszego lub przeszłego, w zależności od tego, w
jakim czasie on był w stronie czynnej, dopasowując jego
formę do nowego podmiotu:
  jeżeli zdanie podrzędne w stronie czynnej jest w tym samym
czasie co nadrzędne, czasownik zdania podrzędnego
stawiamy w bezokoliczniku czasu teraźniejszego:

 natomiast jeżeli zdanie podrzędne jest w czasie przeszłym w

stosunku do zdania nadrzędnego, czasownik zdania
podrzędnego stawiamy w formie bezokolicznika czasu
przeszłego (to have + imiesłów bierny): -2-
