Experience
Currently working as a childcare aid
- Before and after school and part-time during summer
- Watch children ages 3.5-11 to be sure they don’t hurt themselves or other children
- Provide and serve healthy snacks based on DHS standards
- Oversee weekly crafts to help with creativity and learning
- Play games with kids to increase their hand eye coordination and critical thinking skills
- Work with others to provide the best enviroment we can for them
- Take attendance to ensure kids are where they need to be
- Teaches kids to play many different types of games such as sports, imaginative play,
cards, board games, and more

Babysitting for many families


- Watch 1-4 kids at a time from newborns and older
- Cook balanced meals for them with many different ingredients and various cooking skills
- Play outside to help gain new skills and use energy
- Engage in imaginative play to help with many skills

Education
Started high school in fall 2020 and set to graduate in spring 2024
Taking college level classes and hoping to graduate with an AA degree
Is an A honor roll student
Has a wide variety of classes I have taken with knowledge in many different subjects

Skills
Certified in CPR and First Aid as of March 2022
Has 5+ video training hours on childcare and child development
Knowledge of what to do in situations such as fire, tornado, break-in, or medical emergencies
Very organized, has good communication skills, patient, caring, good problem solving skills

Activities
Peer helping-Help with things around the school and other students
WEB-Help incoming 7th grade students by giving a tour of the school, playing games with them,
and teaching them things about high school
Spanish Club-Learn spanish and do activities to learn about their culture
Assisting teacher in implementing lessons plans.
Assisting students in daily tasks and implementing modifications if needed.
Providing assistance to children in the classroom to ensure an enriching, safe, and clean
environment.
Assumes responsibility of the teacher when the teacher is absent.

Skills / Requirements:
Knowledge of applicable safety procedures.
Ability to exercise control and maintain classroom discipline.
Ability to provide a supportive and caring environment for children.
Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff.
Assists with delivery of age-appropriate content for students.
