II. NATURE AND SIGNIFICANCE OF THE PROJECT

Issues that the project wishes to address

This proposition focuses on the challenges encountered by STEM students

during the implementation of limited face-to-face classes at the Asian College of

Technology in the academic year 2022-2023. It aims to answer the following questions:

1. How do students and teachers adjust to the standard health protocols imposed by the

government?

2. How do students acknowledge the potential challenges of face-to-face classes?

3. What are the students’ perceptions about limited face-to-face classes?

4. How do students handle their challenges during the learning process?

(Concept of the research being proposed)

Significance of the study

The Research is aimed to Determine the challenges encountered by STEM

students during the Implementation of limited face-to-face classes in Asian College of

Technology Bulacao Campus. And the effectiveness of the Implementation through the

behaviors of the students. The Research Data will serve as the effectiveness of the

Implementation of the face-to-face towards STEM Students.


Objectives of the study

This study will assess Challenges Encountered by STEM Students during the

implementation of limited face-to-face Classes at the Asian College of Technology for

the Academic year 2022-2023 it aims to fulfill the following goals:

1.) To determine if procrastinating can affect students’ grades.

2.) Compare the students who take face-to-face classes and who don’t.

3.) Identify advanced learning that improves knowledge.

III. METHODOLOGY

A proposed qualitative study conducted by the researcher by collecting and

analyzing data, the researcher will use surveys and in-depth interviews to collect data

about the Challenges encountered by STEM Students during the implementation of

limited face-to-face classes. The participants of this study were engaged in two

discussions. One of the interviews was close-ended questions (structured) and the

other was open-ended questions (unstructured) to gather more data. Surveys were

collected as additional resources for the study.
