ACTIVITY:
October 15 is Global Handwashing Day, a global advocacy day
Description: dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the
importance of handwashing with soap as an effective and affordable
way to prevent diseases and save lives.

Objectives: The following were the specific objectives of the activity

a. Orient the pupils on the importance of celebrating Global Handwashing Day


b. Discuss the different ways and benefits of applying Handwashing on the daily basis.

RESULTS:

The following were the outputs based on the objectives of this activity:
1. 33 pupils participated on the Global Handwashing Day
2. Orientation were provided to participants
3. Importance of the activity were realized and recognized
4. Pupils showed willingness in applying handwashing in daily basis.

This activity is designed to properly guide the pupils on the importance of Handwashing.

The Global Handwashing Day Celebration was manned and facilitated by the School
Head, Ma. Luisa F. Oyao and Sarah G. Obong, Teacher III.

4. Resource Person

The School Head,Ma.Luisa F. Oyao and Sarah G. Obong , Teacher III. successfully
facilitated the overall process and smooth flow of the Global Handwashing Day
Celebration.

5. Audience Participation

The pupils actively participated during the activity. They were very attentive to learn .

The advisers of Kindergarten, Grades I to 6 conducted orientation on the Global Handwashing Day
Celebrationon their respective classroom and the pupils listened attentively.

The immediately applied what they have learned during the Orientation of Global
Handwashing Celebration.They were excited to execute properly handwashing and they could
recall the benenfits of applying such learning they had during the orientation.
