Biography

My name is Angelo Tannuzzo. I am a former Brooklyn prosecutor who discovered a love and a
passion for opera. I started my study of classical voice in November of 2020. Starting in the
spring of 2021, I worked with British pianist and musician Michael Copley, who accompanied
and coached me. During this past summer, I traveled throughout Italy to participate in various
opera competitions. I received Third Prize in the 2021 Filadelfia festival, and was a semi-finalist
for the 2021 Vincerò International Opera Competition. During the end of August, I performed in
concert in Filadelfia, Calabria. I am continuing to study and train daily, and aspire to become a
professional opera singer.
