Stuck in the elevator

The other day one of the employees got stuck in the elevator. After managing to contact the
company which is servicing the lift, it was found that the lift had not been serviced in time and the
lift engineer was due in the next 3 hours duet o the fact was at another job.

One of the employees was appointed to stand in front of the elevator on the 2nd floor to
talk to the person in the elevator, so that there is no panic created. As time passed the person in the
elevator confessed that he suffers from anxiety attacks and that he cannot stay too long confined in
a small space.

The person assigned to hold the conversation with the insider was trying to touch on
different topics to distract him from the problem at hand. Over time, the person in the elevator
began to feel afraid and the beginning of panic slowly set in.

After two hours the Engineer arrived at the scene of the incident, managed after 20 minutes
to get into the elevator, from top of it, and then started checking the elevator. While he was in the
lift and testing it, he got stuck inside along with the employee of the company where he arrived.
After all this the client became ill having a panic attack. The engineer was on the phone with the
building staff and they called the Ambulance.

After another 30 minutes, the engineer managed to open the lift, the ambulance staff took
the customer and provided first aid. After a while it was announced that the company's employee is
fine.
