Gem Studio Bezel Studio

Gems by Curve

we can define the gems to apply along the curve

Boolean Difference
8 Still in the Modeling tab with the Boolean Difference
tool remove the cutters from the object.
Dynamic Polar Array
10 Under the Transform tab with the Dynamic Polar
Array tool, we can copy the profile, gems and
prongs around the central gem, as the above image
shows. In this case with 3 elements.
 Variable Chamfer
11 Then, with the Variable Chamfer tool, under the
Modeling tab, define a chamfer for the central
bezel. In this case the chamfer radius is 0.8mm.
Ellipse
13 We can then define an ellipse in the right viewport
with the Ellipse tool under the Drawing tab.

Torus / Boolean Union
12 Still under the Modeling tab, with the Torus tool in
the top view define support for the pendant. Then,
with the Boolean Union tool unite all the parts created
before into a single object.
Dynamic Profile
14 Lastly, under the Jewelry tab with the Dynamic Profi-
le tool, define the shape of the pendant bail, as
shown in the image above.
