Project outline Target Box

Goal: To create a flip up, automated, modular and programable air rifle target gallery that can
handle .177cal lead pellets at velocities of up to 500fps.

Base Kit includes

- 2x Target boxes with 10 targets stands each


- 40 target faces (10 of each: ½”, 1”, 2”, 3”)
- Control panel with display (10 input outlets for target boxes)
- 2x 100m long cabels to connect target boxes to control pannel

Additional boxes

- Additional target boxes can be plugged into base kits control pannel to extend game
options and customise layout
- two sizes of additional boxes; 2 target, and 10 target
- Target boxes include target faces, and a 100m cables to connect target boxes to control
pannel

Setup

- Target box is placed 15m away from the firing line.


- 2 players stand at firing line facing target box.
- Players selects game mode, and the game is ready to start

Basic operation:

1) Target boxe are placed side by side, 10m away from the players firing line
2) Player selects Standard game mode and hits start
3) 10 second count down begins. Both player stand at firing line, facing the target boxes
4) Bell rings and first pair of targets activate (flip up or drop down depending on design)
5) Players try and hit target. First player to hit target scores point. Even if second target is
hit. It does not score
6) After a target is hit, the next pair of targets are activated
7) Repeat steps 5 and six until a total of 5 pairs targets have been activated.
8) Once all five pairs of targets have been activated and scored, a bell goes off and no the
round is over. The scores is shown on the display board and a winner is declared
