"Tiongkok Kecil"
The location of "Tiongkok Kecil" is in the village of Karangturi, Lasem sub-district,
Rembang district. The "Tiongkok Kecil Heritage" building is a blend of Chinese and Indian
Empire architectural styles. While in the "Tiongkok Kecil Heritage," tourists may be amazed
by the view of almost the entire building, which is dominated by red. Entering the gate of
Karangturi Village, you will find buildings with high walls and doors with Chinese characters
written on them. lantern decorations; besides that, the walls are also pasted with typical
Lasem batik motifs.
In Tiongkok Kecil, there is "Omah Batik," which is a place for mothers to make batik
cloth. Then there is also a Chinese-style restaurant called "Hokki." The food sold in the
restaurant is generally Chinese food. In the courtyard of the restaurant "Hokki," there are 3
large statues named Fu Xing, Lo Xing, and Shou Xing. At the restaurant, there is also a tour
guide who is ready to guide tourists.
In addition, in "Tiongkok Kecil" there is also " Omah abang". To enter "Omah
abang", the tourists have to pay 5,000 rupiah and will be given a paper bracelet as a sign.

unique homestay because each room name is taken from the names of Chinese cities such as
Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. Inside "Omah Abang," there are also various

been built since the Japanese colonial period and serves as a shelter as well as a secret door to
escape if the Japanese troops make an ambush at any time.

visited the site are pasted, including those of former President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono.

are street lamps installed in the old Javanese style. In addition, there are also many red-lit
lanterns with Chinese nuances, which have become a icon for "Tiongkok Kecil." The
lanterns are hung around "Tiongkok Kecil" so that they add to the beauty at night. At night,
especially every Saturday night, many people come to visit the "Hokki" restaurant or just
relax on the roadside chairs to enjoy the nighttime atmosphere around "Tiongkok Kecil."
