Construction is a high hazard industry that encompasses a broad range of activities
that involve the construction, alteration, and/or repair of infrastructures.
Construction workers are exposed to numerous hazards, including falls from
rooftops, unguarded machinery, being struck by heavy construction equipment,
electrocutions, silica dust, and asbestos.
