ATTENTION: ANUJ GAUTAM

Dear MR. GAUTUM:

This serves as a formal DEMAND for a refund amounting to TWENTY-SEVEN THOUSAND

AND THREE HUNDRED SEVENTY U.S. DOLLARS (US$27,370), representing the seventy
percent (70%) downpayment made by the National Book Development Board on [date of
invoice] pursuant to our contract (Annex- A) for the construction of the Philippine stand at the
Frankfurter Buchmesse in Frankfurt, Germany before the 19th to 23rd October 2022 fair”.

The Philippine Booth has not been constructed according to our agreement despite our constant
reminders resulting in undue disadvantage to the image and reputation of the Philippines in this
prestigious event. Hence, this act has been construed as a willful breach of the Agreement.

You are hereby given thirty (30) days from receipt of this DEMAND LETTER to settle the
obligation, otherwise, we will be forced to pursue any and all available legal and equitable
remedies, including, but are not limited to, instituting formal litigation proceedings against you
and your company.

I am hopeful that a mutually acceptable resolution outside of a publicly filed litigation can be
achieved. The matters set forth herein are intended for settlement purposes only and are strictly
confidential in all respects.

It is in the best interest of both parties to resolve this matter as soon as possible.
