2. RINDI ANTIKA
3. MIFTAHUL JANNAH SYAFAR
4. ARIQA SALSABILA
Research instrument:
The researcher will conduct a non-directive interview because it involves students'
experience of anxiety and then Guided Response Types will be held because
participants are asked to remember a series of categories. Multiple-choice or multiple
response questions.
Data Collection:
Researchers will conduct research through 100 student participants majoring in
English education, provide a questionnaire with 25 statement points and questions, 40
participants will be interviewed more clearly with 10 questions, after collecting the
results of questionnaires and interviews will be calculated through quantitative
methods.
Data Analysis:
I suggest in this study using qualitative descriptive analysis and descriptive statistics
to process some of the data obtained from various literatures also collect and describe
the results of the questionnaire.
Proposed Methodology:
In this study, I suggest using qualitative methods that support the research topic to
determine the students' speaking ability towards code switching used by teachers in
the learning process.
Research Instrument:
I suggest using interview instruments and questionnaires, interviews are conducted
with teachers and questionnaires were conducted to student participants on teacher
teaching using code switching.
Data Collection:
Researchers will conduct research through 3 classes in high school, then interview 3
different teachers and distribute questionnaires to a number of students in 3 classes.
Data Analysis:
I suggest in this study using a qualitative technique, namely the interview technique
of the resource person, namely the teacher. Researchers will ask several questions
related to the research topic and provide questionnaires to participants, namely
students to support the topic under study.
Proposed Methodology
It would be better if this study used a qualitative method, to find out and collect data
about the language learning strategies used by male English students in this digital
era. Because there will be a lot of strategies from male students, it is necessary to use
qualitative methods to accommodate their opinions.
Research Instruments
The instruments used by researchers are:
-Questionnaires or surveys to find out the strategies used by students
-Interview of several participants who have filled out the questionnaire (interview
list)
-The participants of this research are students of English Education, Makassar State
University, who are male.
Data collection
The methods used by researchers to obtain the data are by:
-Distribute questionnaires or surveys to Makassar State University English Education
students online
-After the participants fill out the questionnaire, some of them will be interviewed
using the semi-structured interview method. The results of this interview will be
recorded and then will be transcribed.
Data Analysis:

Proposed Methodology
it would be better if this study used a mix qualitative-quantitative method to find out
how far the students' speaking skills were. Is their speaking ability classified as low,
medium or high. Is it influenced by anxiety. If so, what anxiety experienced by
students that affect their confidence in speaking in class.
Research Instruments
The instruments used by researchers are:
-Questionnaire or survey for
find out how far the students' speaking ability is. The questionnaire contains several
statements relating to students' speaking skills in class. Participants will answer with
answers Strongly Agree, Agree, Neutral, Disagree and Strongly Disagree.
-Assessment sheet to measure students' speaking ability.
-Interview of several participants who have filled out the questionnaire (interview
list)
To obtain data, is the students' speaking ability influenced by anxiety. If so, what
anxiety experienced by students that affect their confidence in speaking in class.
-The participants of this research are students of English Education, Makassar State

Data Analysis
This study uses content analysis because the data obtained are based on the utterances
expressed by the resource persons (students).
Proposed methodology
mix quantitative & qualitative
reason : I suggest using the mix method because based on the title and background
explained, the response and the data needed to measure students' abilities regarding
the methods that have been tested
Data Collection :
questioner : I suggest to prioritize the use of a questionnaire to collect information
with the way to give a non verbal question to answer
interview : After collecting data from the questionnaire sample, then taking several
participants from the total sample and then conducting more specific interviews
Data Analysis: I suggest doing data processing using descriptive analysis for
quantitative and thematic methods of analysis by means of interviews, text
transcripts, finding ideas and topics that concentrate on the relevant components
Data Collecting : In the questionnaire there are questions that will later become a
comparison tool for which learning strategies are more attractive to male students
Data Analysis : I suggest using descriptive analysis where the researcher will
describe the object under study through the samples that have been collected as they
are without conducting analysis to make conclusions
