other scientific fields with taking two supplemental exams.

on Higher Education in HNC and previously published public call for application. Criteria for
evaluating applicants include graduate study grades, references by employers, teachers and
potential mentor, participation in local and foreign conferences, seminars, scientific
publications. An interview with an applicant is an obligatory part of the enrolment procedure.
At the time of enrolment, all the necessary conditions for completion of study in the allotted

of research, teaching and mentorship capacities.
Applicants who have earned a Master of Science degree in the field of social sciences (political,
economic, legal, security, humanities, etc.) enrol in the fifth semester and fulfill the obligations
determined by the doctoral studies program.

of study are determined by the Rules on Doctoral Studies. Council for Doctoral Studies decides,
by comparing the curricula, if it is necessary to take supplement exams.
The procedure of selecting courses from other study programs is determined by the Council of
Doctoral Studies. The attention is given to the teaching methods, credit value of the course and
the ways how exams are prepared and taken (included in the syllabus). Students of the doctoral
studies may, within elective courses, choose courses from another doctoral study of the faculties
in the country and abroad, related to their field of study, as well as specialized courses that are
in the curriculum of the studies and departments of the Faculty. The selected courses are
approved by the Council of Doctoral Studies based on their importance for the study and a
