Rationale
It is my intention to document by pathway that I can use
as a guide to assist me as I go along. In this document
there will be timelines and sections for me to evaluate
my progress as I go along so I can improve and use this
document as a means of motivation to push me towards
my career goal.
Objectives
Career goal 1- Performs surgeries and manages the
surgical team.
Discusses surgery results with patients and medical staff.
Examines patients to make diagnoses and treat illnesses
and injuries.
Follows all medical laws, guidelines, regulations, and
standards.
Adheres to the healthcare facility’s policies and
procedures.
Steps to achieve career goal:
Subject needed: Biology, Chemistry, Physics
A bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related
major is required.
A Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
degree is required.
An active medical license is required.
An active certification from The American Board of
Surgery is preferred.

Career goal 2-
Design assessment tools for recruitment purposes,
analyze findings, and present results to management or
professional recruiters. Tests may address factors such as
employee workstyle, work ethics, and personality.
Management Assessment: Design and administer
leadership style tests to identify inefficient management
practices which can lead to miscommunication, lowered
employee morale, employee burnout, and decreased
organizational productivity.
Employee Training and Education: Develop informational
and training materials to educate employees on company
policies, organizational changes, foreign influence,
conflicts of interest, workplace discrimination, and
workplace harassment.
Hostile Work Environment Intervention: Design
interventions to stop workplace bullying and help
managers develop successful leadership styles.
Customer Behavior Studies: Assess customer satisfaction
and conduct studies about why people purchase goods
or services.
Requirements: Earn a Bachelor’s Degree
Graduate from a Doctorate Program
Obtain a State License if Necessary
Pass the Certification Exam

What is my personality type and what does it say about
me?
My personality type is Social, Investigative, Convectional
Social means that I like working with other people rather
than things.
Investigative means that I watch, learn, analyze and solve
problems.
Convectional means that I am detailed and organized and
like to work with data.
Termly evaluations:
An average of 85 or above.
A healthy study lifestyle
Quarterly evaluation:
 Maintain an average of 85 or above
Also do better than I did the term before
Semesterly evaluation: An average of 85 or above

I would like to be a surgeon.

During my later years I would focus on the following subjects:

Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Math, English, Information technology, social studies
and my optional subject Spanish.

After high school; I want to attend a medical school and get a bachelor degree in
chemistry, physics and biology.
A medical license.

While during high school I can share my goals with

parents to see what plans they have for me in the
further.
