Scene 1: Apprehending James

Page 2 INT. Coffee Shop- Day

People flowed in and out of the coffee shop. Some people sat inside and drank coffee shop, while other sat outside of the coffee shop drinking coffee enjoying the nice weather. A man in a suit and sunglasses sat at an outside table, checking his blackberry. JAMES, a guy in a beatup jacket and some grungy jeans nervously approached the coffee shop and cased the place. Everything appeared to be normal. Just then the man at the table looked up and tilted his glasses at James. James noticed the signal from the man in the suit and went over to him. As James headed over to the man in the suit, he passed by a man who was hiding behind the Boston Globe. The man tilted down the news paper revealing HAL as he sneakily glanced at James heading over to the man in the suit. James stood at the table, as the man in the suit finished texting on his blackberry, and placed it inside of his suit jacket pocket. MAN Take a seat James obeyed and sat down at the table across from the man in the suit. James seemed nervous and uneasy. The man looked at James condition. MAN Will you relax, your complexion is draining into your socks. JAMES (Nervous Wreck) How could I relax huh? I have goons calling my home threatening me, my wife left for her mothers because she feels unsafe, and I havent had a lick of sleep in a week! Dont tell me to relax! MAN Alright take it easy, Jimmy. I assure you that after today, the phone calls stop, you get your dame back, and you live snow white happily ever after. You got the ticket? JAMES (Nervous) Yeah, Yeah I got the ticket. MAN Great, hand it over.

Page 3 The man in the suit extended his hand for the ticket. JAMES (Nervous) II dont know! MAN What do ya mean, You dont know, give me the ticket Jimmy JAMES (Nervous) Yeah, I give you the ticket, and by the end of the nightIm facedown floating in the Charles. No way! MAN (Getting upset) What is this Jimmy, are you calling me a two bit prick who doesnt keep his word?! JAMES No, I didnt say all thatTha James was about to say the mans name. MAN (Interrupting) SHUT YA MOUTH, JimmyNow I said I will take care of you, so I take care of you. But I cant take care of you, if you dont handover the ticket. James looked at the man, who appeared to be staring back at James through his sunglasses. JAMES And by tonight, my Margarine will be safe to be back in my arms? MAN As soon as that ticket touches my palm, I make one phone call, and your dame will be back in your puny arms as quick as the lucky wind up Marylyns dress. James looked at the man with soulful eyes, and sighed. James reached into his pocket and pulled out a ticket. He handed it to the man. The man smiled as he took the ticket and arose from his seat. MAN Very wise of you, Jimmy.

Page 4 JAME Yeah. What about the phone calls and my Margarine. The man smirked as he pulled out his blackberry and began dialing a number. The man put the phone to his ear, he then noticed Hal, who was looking at a spoon, gazing back at the Man through its reflection ease dropping. The man the disconnected the call he made and placed the phone down not taking his eyes off of Hal. JAMES (To Man) What, whats wrong. Am I safe now, is Margarine? MAN (Upset) No JAMES No? What do you mean, No? I followed your instructions, I gave you the ticket, what do you mean, No? Leaning on the table, leaning in on James aggressively with anger. MAN I mean, I smell something Jimmy, and its not todays special! (Flashing at Hal sitting at his own table, putting down the spoon) HAL (To himself) Shit (Flash back to the Man and James) JAMES (Getting nervous) I still dont understand! MAN You try to double cross me, Jimmy! Ill make sure that those bastards kill your little bitch! The man then began to push through the people at the Coffee shop to run away. Hal quickly got up from the table and looked at the man, who was trying to get away. James eyes then locked in on Hal, as Hal locked his eyes on James. JAMES (Surprised/Breathy) HAL!

Page 5 Hal then takes off after the man. James quickly jumps up out of his seat and begins to take off in the opposite direction. James then ran into a gentlemen spilling coffee on his shirt. CARTER Damn it! This was my favorite shirt! JAMES (Nervous) Im sorry, Im so sorry James looked up at the guy he spilled coffee on and then shock and panic took over his face. As the gentlemen was actually CARTER. Carter took off his sunglasses. CARTER Heya Jimmy. Carter smiled looking at James. JAMES (Panicked) CARTER! James then pushed Carter, causing him to fall back into people who was coming out of the coffee. James took off running. Carter recovered himself and took off after James. HAL AND CARTER met up on the sidewalk to the coffee shop, as they each saw their men taking off in different directions. Carter and Hal then looked at each other. HAL You get the scum in the $5.00 suit? CARTER You get Jimmy? HAL & CARTER DEAL! HAL and CARTER then took off in the opposite directions, but with Hal chasing after the man in the suit, and Carter after James. END SCENE
